August 31, 2025 by el hassan Leave a Comment

Looking for an easy, delicious dinner with minimal cleanup? This Parmesan Crusted Chicken Sheet Pan Dinner has it all—crispy roasted potatoes, tender green beans, and juicy parmesan-crusted chicken. Everything cooks on one pan, making weeknight meals a breeze!

Why You’ll Love This Meal

  • One-pan convenience: Prep, cook, and serve everything on a single sheet pan. Cleanup is simple, and flavors stay concentrated.
  • Parmesan perfection: Every component is tossed with parmesan cheese, creating rich, cheesy flavor in every bite.
  • Meal prep friendly: Cook once, portion out, and enjoy quick lunches or dinners throughout the week.

What’s on the Sheet Pan

  • Chicken breasts coated in olive oil, parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Quartered red potatoes tossed with garlic, olive oil, parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  • Fresh green beans seasoned with garlic, olive oil, and optional parmesan.

Tip: You can swap green beans for broccoli or another favorite vegetable if desired.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts: 3–4 pieces, pounded to even thickness for uniform cooking.
  • Red potatoes: Quartered; baby potatoes or gold potatoes work too.
  • Green beans: Fresh is best; frozen or canned can be substituted but adjust cooking time.
  • Olive oil: Extra-virgin preferred.
  • Garlic: Fresh cloves deliver the best flavor.
  • Parmesan cheese: Freshly grated adheres best, but shredded works.
  • Breadcrumbs: Plain or Italian; use gluten-free if desired.
  • Salt & pepper: Adjust to taste.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prep potatoes: Toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic, parmesan, salt, and pepper. Spread on one-third of a large sheet pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  3. Prep chicken: Mix chicken with olive oil, parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic, salt, and pepper. Add to the sheet pan beside the partially cooked potatoes.
  4. Prep green beans: Toss green beans with garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional parmesan. Add to the final third of the pan.
  5. Bake: Cook for 25 minutes more, until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally. For extra crispy potatoes, broil 3–4 minutes at the end. Remove green beans early if needed.
  6. Rest and serve: Let chicken rest 5 minutes before serving.

Tips for Success

  • Chicken thickness matters: Large breasts may need extra baking time; pound to 1-inch thickness for even cooking.
  • Crispy bottoms: Use a rack if desired to keep moisture off the chicken.
  • Extra flavor: Add Italian seasoning, oregano, or other herbs to taste.

Storage & Reheating

  • Fridge: Store in airtight containers for 3–4 days. Keep ingredients separate or portion into meals.
  • Freezer: Cool completely, then freeze up to 3 months in airtight containers.
  • Reheat: Air fryer for 4–5 minutes at 350°F for crispiness, bake at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, or microwave 1.5–2 minutes. Thaw frozen meals for best results.

Ingredients

  • For the Chicken:

  • 1½ lb chicken breasts (about 3–4 pieces, ~1 inch thick)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • ⅓ cup grated parmesan

  • ⅓ cup breadcrumbs (Italian or plain; optional 1 tsp Italian seasoning)

  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper

  • ½–¾ tsp sea salt

  • For the Potatoes:

  • 2 lb red potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1–2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • For the Green Beans:

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tbsp parmesan (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Preheat oven: 425°F (220°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or lightly grease for easy cleanup.
  • Prep potatoes: In a medium bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic, parmesan, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Spread on one-third of the sheet pan and bake for 10–15 minutes, depending on desired browning.
  • Prep chicken: While potatoes cook, toss chicken with olive oil, garlic, parmesan, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl until fully coated. Remove pan from oven and add chicken next to partially cooked potatoes.
  • Add green beans: Toss green beans with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and optional parmesan. Add them to the remaining section of the sheet pan.
  • Bake: Continue baking for 25 minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). For extra crispy potatoes, broil on high for 4–5 minutes at the end.
  • Rest and serve: Remove from oven and allow chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy a delicious, easy, one-pan dinner!
