These no-bake Oreo balls are the ultimate simple yet fancy treat! With just 4 ingredients and minimal effort, they’re perfect for anyone looking for an easy, delicious dessert. No cream cheese or sweetened condensed milk needed—just Oreos, butter, milk, and chocolate!
Ingredients:
- 30 regular Oreo cookies (340g)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled (45g)
- 2 to 5 tbsp milk
- 8 oz dark, semi-sweet, or white chocolate, chopped (225g)
- 1 tsp vegetable oil (optional, see notes)
Instructions:
- Prep your baking sheet: Line a medium-sized baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
- Process the Oreos: In a large food processor, add the whole Oreo cookies (filling included). Pulse until the cookies are finely crumbled.
- Combine with butter and milk: Add the melted butter and 2 tablespoons of milk to the Oreo crumbs. Pulse until the mixture is moistened and holds together. If the mixture is too dry, pulse in additional milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it comes together.
- Shape the balls: Scoop 1 tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll them into smooth balls. Place them onto the prepared baking sheet. If the mixture is too crumbly to roll, add more milk; if it’s too sticky, chill the portions in the freezer for 10-15 minutes before rolling.
- Chill: Once all the balls are rolled, freeze them for at least 15 minutes, or until firm enough to dip in chocolate.
- Melt the chocolate: Melt the chocolate using your preferred method:
- Microwave: Heat the chopped chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 10-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Stovetop: Heat 1 inch of water in a pot until steaming (not boiling). Reduce heat and place the chocolate in a heat-safe bowl above the pot, stirring until melted.
- Coat the Oreo balls: If using vegetable oil, stir it into the melted chocolate. Let the chocolate cool slightly (about 5 minutes). Dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, using a fork to lift it out. Gently shake off the excess chocolate and place the ball back onto the parchment-lined sheet. Optionally, top with flaky sea salt, crushed Oreo crumbs, or drizzle with more chocolate.
- Chill again: Let the Oreo balls set in the fridge or freezer until the chocolate coating hardens. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
These Oreo balls are perfect for any occasion—rich, indulgent, and oh-so-easy to make!
