This applesauce dish is delicious and easy to prepare. My younger brother hates bottled applesauce, but he loves it when I cook it for him.
Sarah’s Homemade Applesauce
4 apples – peeled, cored and chopped
¾ cup water
¼ cup white sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- In a saucepan, combine the apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon; cover and cook over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the apples are tender.
- Once the apple mixture has cooled, mash it with a fork or potato masher to the desired consistency.
