Broccoli may be easily made and is much more flavorful when roasted than when it is boiled. The roasted, thinly sliced stem segments are my favorite part.
Easy Roasted Broccoli
14 ounces broccoli
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and ground black pepper to taste
- Set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).
- Remove the stalk from the broccoli florets. Slice the stalk into 1/4-inch-thick pieces after peeling. Olive oil should be combined with the florets and stem pieces before being transferred to a baking pan and seasoned with salt and pepper.
- Broccoli should be roasted in a warm oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until tender and gently browned.
