Ready in just 15 minutes, this Air Fryer Parmesan Crusted Chicken is golden, crispy, and bursting with flavor. Juicy on the inside and perfectly seasoned, it’s a quick and delicious dinner the whole family will love!


Ingredients

Chicken:

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced horizontally into 4 fillets
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano or parsley (for garnish)

Garlic Mayonnaise:

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt, to taste

Parmesan Coating:

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
    Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (199°C).
  2. Prepare Chicken:
    Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create 4 fillets. Place the fillets on a cutting board, cover with plastic wrap, and gently pound them to an even thickness using a rolling pin or meat tenderizer.
  3. Mix Garlic Mayo:
    In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Divide the mixture evenly and spread it over both sides of each chicken fillet.
  4. Prepare Parmesan Coating:
    In a shallow bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs. Dredge each fillet in the mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating adheres evenly. Shake off any excess.
  5. Cook in Air Fryer:
    Lightly grease the air fryer basket with olive oil. Arrange the coated chicken fillets in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Serve and Enjoy:
    Garnish the cooked chicken with fresh oregano or parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy, flavorful meal!
